1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ClipTaps ("the Service"), operated at cliptaps.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

ClipTaps is an AI-powered video content generation and auto-posting platform. The Service allows you to create short-form video content from various sources and automatically publish it to connected social media platforms, including YouTube.

ClipTaps is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change without prior notice.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use ClipTaps. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

4. Subscription Plans & Pricing

ClipTaps offers the following subscription plans:

• Start: $29/month
• Pro: $79/month
• API: $249/month

Plan features, limits, and pricing are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice before any pricing changes take effect for existing subscribers.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@cliptaps.com for refund requests.

6. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all content you create using ClipTaps, including generated videos, scripts, and media. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your generated content.

Input Content: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any source material (text, images, audio) you provide to ClipTaps for content generation.

License to Us: You grant ClipTaps a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating and uploading videos on your behalf).

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClipTaps to:

• Generate or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringing
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Distribute spam, malware, or deceptive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Violate the terms of connected platforms (e.g., YouTube Community Guidelines)
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Service Availability

ClipTaps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. As a beta service, we do not guarantee any specific uptime or service level agreement (SLA). We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime without prior notice.

9. Third-Party Services

ClipTaps integrates with third-party services including Google, YouTube, and Stripe. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services.

10. Termination

By You: You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason with reasonable notice. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipTaps and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ClipTaps in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClipTaps from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
