Affiliate terms

1. What you earn

  • 30% of the net revenue (what the customer paid, excluding taxes, net of refunds and chargebacks) from each customer you refer, for the first 12 months of that customer's paid subscription.
  • Your audience gets 30% off their first 3 months on any paid plan with your code or yourcliptaps.com/ref/<CODE> link.
  • The first affiliate to refer a customer keeps them. A customer referred by no one, or by ClipTaps itself, earns no commission.

2. Payouts

  • Payouts start once the customers you referred have paid $50 or more in total. After that, cleared commission is paid monthly, $50 minimum per payout; smaller balances roll over to the next month.
  • Each commission is held 30 days before it clears, to cover refunds and chargebacks.
  • Payouts are made by PayPal only. PayPal's fees are paid by you.
  • Before your first payout you must send us a tax form: a W-9 if you are in the US, or a W-8BEN if you are not. No form, no payout.

3. How you may promote ClipTaps

  • No paid ads. Promote ClipTaps through your own organic content only. Paid ads of any kind are not allowed in this version of the program. If they are allowed later, bidding on "ClipTaps" or similar keywords will still be banned.
  • Disclose every time. Mark every promotion as an ad: #ad, "affiliate link", or the platform's paid-partnership label.
  • Original content only. Do not re-upload ClipTaps showcase videos, and do not mass-post unedited AI clips under the ClipTaps name.
  • No income claims. Never promise or suggest earnings (for example "make $10k a month with faceless AI").
  • No AI "expert" personas on sensitive topics. Do not promote ClipTaps with AI personas giving health, financial, legal or political advice.
  • No coupon, cashback or deal sites, no "ClipTaps promo code" pages, and no websites, domains or social handles that use the ClipTaps name or look like ClipTaps.
  • No spam: no unsolicited messages, comment spam or fake reviews.

4. Self-referral and fraud

  • No self-referral: you earn nothing on your own account, your household's accounts, or accounts paid with your card.
  • Refunds and chargebacks cancel the commission on that payment, including commission already paid out.
  • Fraud, or breaking these rules on purpose, ends your membership and forfeits all of your commission, paid and unpaid.

5. Your code and your membership

  • Membership is by application. We may approve or decline any application.
  • Codes and links with no use for 6 months may be switched off.
  • You are an independent creator, not an employee or agent of ClipTaps, and you may not speak for ClipTaps.

6. Changes

ClipTaps may change or end the affiliate program with 30 days' notice by email. Commission you have already earned and that has cleared is still paid.
